"Using brushwork, light, and balance, Santoré captures moments within his personal history."
Robert Santore is an accomplished artist who has made a significant impact in the art world. Despite being a fifth-generation Texan, he was born in California and spent his formative years traveling between the UK and California with his family. From a young age, Robert turned to art to process his experiences, creating his first piece at the age of six.

Robert's recent return to Texas is part of his journey to reconnect with his roots and expand his artistic vision. He stands out from other modern artists by showcasing his artistry and creativity through various mediums, including sculpture, portraiture, landscape, and mixed media. His work includes watercolor, gauche, and egg tempera, and each piece is carefully crafted to bring his ideas to life in the most appropriate medium.

Robert's work is truly remarkable, with each layered piece featuring intricate details that reflect his memories of a diverse childhood and the historical and cultural events that shaped him. His art is characterized by common themes, repeating shapes, and colors, making it instantly recognizable to viewers. Robert's work is currently on display at Houston's prestigious Jack Rabbit gallery, and he has exhibitions planned for New York and California.
