This work is a visual attempt to document what war leaves behind. The pages, collected like rubble, carry the marks of destruction—burnt edges, rough textures, and torn surfaces. The charcoaled tones and distorted figures reflect the damage, instability, and loss caused by conflict.
The forms seem suspended, neither still nor whole, just like bodies altered by war. The piece feels fragile, as if it could crumble at any moment, echoing the impermanence of memory and history. Through these damaged pages, the artist captures the weight of destruction and the struggle to preserve what remains.
