Khozema Al‑Aaed Syrian , b. 1985

The city becomes a living entity, bearing the traces of human passage, where geography is reread as an emotional and mnemonic space rather than a purely architectural structure.
Khozema Al‑Aaed explores the profound relationship between humans and place, where land and streets transform into a living archive of memory.

Through sculpture, drawing, and installation works, he employs natural and industrial materials such as stone, metal, wood, and mixed media to reveal hidden layers of time, identity, and belonging.

His practice engages with the city as a living entity bearing traces of human passage, re‑reading geography as an emotional and mnemonic space rather than a purely architectural structure. Al‑Aaed invites the viewer to reflect on their relationship with the land and their responsibility toward shared memory and what remains amid continuous transformation.
