These works present an abstract interpretation of the road networks in Abu Dhabi
and Dubai, realized through digital manipulation, layering, and material exploration.
Major road fragments—central to the UAE’s rapid development—are traced and
reimagined through delicate threadwork and textured overlays.
Once symbols of urban planning and movement, these lines and intersections now
serve as metaphors for transformation, capturing not only physical infrastructure but
also the intangible paths shaped by memory, time, and change. The resulting
compositions evoke a landscape where personal and collective narratives converge,
reflecting the evolving identity of the region.
