KHOZEMA Al-Aaed
This work presents a city transformed from a horizontal surface into towering vertical forms. Streets are no longer routes of passage, but accumulations of memory and lived experience.
The towers are not buildings, but reconstructed street maps. Intersections and paths shaped by human movement rise upward, forming a city that is felt rather than drawn. Scale becomes essential, reflecting the weight of the cities we carry within us, cities too heavy to remain flat in memory.
Light emerging from within the structure suggests the city’s ongoing pulse, as if these streets remain alive and stories continue to circulate through them.
This work does not offer a map, but the trace of a city, inviting the viewer to stand before it, not to enter, but to confront it.
