Tallaa’s sculptures extend the language of his paintings into three dimensions, carrying the same themes of fragmentation, erosion, and the passage of time. The sleeping heads, with their worn and fissured surfaces, hold multiple meanings, suggesting both peace and transience, silence and rest, without offering a fixed interpretation. Positioned on marked cylinders and rough stone blocks, the sculptures exist between formation and collapse, where the materials themselves become active participants, carrying traces of history and memory before the artist’s intervention.
