Alongside our exhibition Praxis of Change, Firetti Contemporary has hosted the second segment of an ongoing series of panel discussions revolving around art, the environment and anthropogenic climate change.
The panelists are representatives of various International and UAE based organisations, as well as Contemporary Art experts. In line with the initiatives of Firetti Contemporary, using art as a vehicle to invigorate change, the gallery invites the respective panelists to discuss their work and creativity towards meaningful actions.
The conversation will be moderated by Nadine Khalil, an independent arts writer, researcher, curator and content specialist.

Dina Story, EXPO 2020 Dubai Head of Sustainability, analytical and research expertise having extensive corporate and NGO/Government experience, and a thorough grasp of global sustainability.
Carsten Sonne-Schmidt, Managing Partner at Digital Energy, dedicated to solving complex value chain problems with smart, efficient, AI-powered solutions that are embedded and easy to use.
Edurne Gil de San Vicente, Program Director at Water Alliance, promoting a systems-shift pivoting toward Sustainability, working with different stakeholders in public, private and non-profit sectors.
Charbel Samuel Aoun, Architect and Artist, Aoun is a designer of spatial and multi-sensory experiences, he gives pride of place to plants, natural and recycled materials, creating a system that both examines and questions social and environmental realities.
Eftal Efecinar, Senior EXPO 2020 Manager and Business Development Manager for Solutions in ENGIE AMEA. In her role, she has a clear target of reaching to right internal and external stakeholders to support stakeholders and clients on Sustainability, Energy Efficiency and Carbon Reduction targets.
Fiordi Pernaska, is a serial entrepreneur, inventor and sustainable innovator. He serves as the CEO of KING KONG construction, an innovative sustainable construction company, with artistic light-transmitting concrete as it's highlighted product.
Mara Firetti, CEO and Founder of Firetti Contemporary representing artists from different corners of the world aiming to share their views on humanitarian matters by supporting constructive contribution and initiatives within our society.
