In concert: Firetti, Moser and Salmah associate to celebrate art

Gulf Today
Firetti Contemporary collaborated with pianist and composer Giovanni Moser and Emirati artist Salmah Almansoori in a multidisciplinary presentation that explored the relationship between visual art, music, memory, and emotion. The project brought together sound and image as interconnected forms of storytelling, creating an immersive dialogue between artistic disciplines and sensory experience.

At the center of the collaboration was Almansoori’s exploration of place, material transformation, and personal memory, themes deeply rooted in her upbringing in Ghayathi and reflected through layered surfaces, archival gestures, and abstract compositions. Moser’s musical performance responded intuitively to these visual narratives, transforming the exhibition space into a shared emotional environment where sound and material interacted in real time.

The presentation highlighted Firetti Contemporary’s interest in interdisciplinary programming and cultural exchange, positioning the gallery as a space where contemporary art extends beyond static exhibition-making into performative and experiential forms of dialogue.
